MAD CUP 2007

Welcome on the official web pages of the freediving competition Maribor Apnea Days (MAD) 2007.

This time MAD CUP will be organized for the 3rd time. Last year Tom Sietas, the best pool freediver, joined the competition and also set a new world record in dynamics without fins. All, the freedivers as the organizers agreed it was a great competition with lots of nice people and an extraordinary atmosphere and it should be repeated. AIDA president Bill Stromberg was also thrilled and offered us the organization of the upcoming World Championship.

This way MAD CUP 2007 will be organized more in a sense of the World Championship, thus not offering the money prizes of last year, but there should be some practical prizes.

With pleasure we are inviting you to our beautiful Maribor and offering to know us and the pool and to spend 2 interesting days in the company of freedivers.
